Blvck Oreo who identifies as "The Lost Biscuit" has released a new EP- Messages from Mars. The talented rapper, singer, and songwriter is popularly known for his well-carved-out messages encoded in Afro-induced drill, pop, and trap genres.
In 2021, he released his first EP- Visitor from Mars. On the 31st of August 2022, He released his latest EP, Messages from Mars. At this point, I believe it is no news that The Lost Biscuit has a thing for "aliens" hence his inspiration for the titles of his projects. Let's take a look at the Messages Blvck Oreo has for us from Mars.

This project signifies the growth of the Artist, his life experiences, and his solid resolve to push the frontiers of #234 drill. It is indeed a collection of emotions as I had a little chat with the talented fast rising rapper.
The first track OYO (On Your Own) is indeed a true-life story and experience of Blvck Oreo. He narrates how disappointed he feels especially with people around him hurting him. Hence, the lines in the song "The good get hurt, and they feel so broken, No love got my shirt all soaked..People hurt me and leave me alone and it's me to blame"
It is story of my past, getting hurt constantly by those I care about and how I got framed for theft, got taken to a shrine, and almost ruined my life - Blvck Oreo
He further explains that Fake Heads ft OluwaMillar is a call-out to the industry heads, artists, A&Rs that didn't support the Naija drill when the drill movement started. But now that the bigger guys in the industry are beginning to explore the sound, they now recognize it leaving out the younger pioneers. Hence, calling it fake heads.
"Love & Drill ft Kaey is pretty self-explanatory, it's a song that explains a love gone sour. Even though I got hurt by the person I wrote it for, I still put it out because you know, life happens"- Lost Biscuit shares as we discussed. That's a lot of courage. I don't think I'd do that though but on second thought, I should post the poem I wrote for a crush that crushed me some time ago😬. You guys should watch out for it
"I Deserve it- this is a song to someone on Twitter who caught feelings, moved mad and I blocked, it's my way of telling them I understand why you hate and it's fine, but you know I drive you crazy". Hehehe, never saw that end coming. I can imagine the hurt after putting in so much effort. He even made playlists for her monthly😮. Bro is on some clockwork energy for that. Creating a playlist takes me up to 1 week of thinking and 3 days of adding the songs.
234 Drill displays the strength/prowess of the drill scene in Nigeria. Blvk Oreo does this by featuring two heavyweights in the scene, Droxx and Tobii wtw. You should check them out, you'll be wowed. I'm that OG on the other hand is the song you use to show the Big (...) Energy vibe. You will feel invisible and untouchable when you listen to this track. You might hear someone that might sound similar to Vector, that's Big C with the big energy.
